Its finally here, the more powerful, lighter and therefore faster than previous Murcies - behold the LP670-4 SuperVeloce, Bolognas latest love child. Described by Lamborghini as exceptionally purist and even more extreme, the LP670-4 SV boasts an increase in power to 670hp and 487lb-ft of torque from the 6.5-liter V12 powerplant - all achieved by simply optimizing the engines valve timing and tweaking the air intake system.
Performance figures have improved thanks to the extra bulls at the rear and a weight loss program that shed 100kg. 0-100 is now achieved in just 3.2 seconds and top speed is 340km/h with the standard, smaller spoiler. Lambo also offers a larger Aeropack Wing which generates more downforce but the additional drag drops top speed to a crawling pace of 336km/h (!!).
The LP670-4 SV is also much pleasant to look at than some of the previous Murcies that are made up from a mess of angles. Its mean and brutal look has our hearts won. The design is also functional than merely aesthetic, up front the larger air intakes assist with better brake cooling and if you noticed the front spoiler extends much further out than before. The new engine cover, meanwhile, is a marvel of design with three hexagonal transparent polymer plates supported by a carbon fiber framework. The interior has also been upholstered entirely in Alcantara and features stitching that matches the exterior color of the car.
